Akai made a video almost two months ago that hasn't received many views. The video goes into explanation on how to evade and utilize attack strings in VF5FS. If you are having problems blocking and evading strings then I reccomend you give this video a watch. Akai also has a blog which can be found at this link.

Gamespot's Training and Customization Mode Preview
Gamespot's Maxwell McGee and Sega's Patrick Riley went over the various features in training mode. This includes the tutorial, record function, frame data, and command/combo training.
Near the end of the video, they also covered the customization mode. This would be the first video in English to show off the customization mode in detail. So go check out the youtube video!

The stand-alone downloadable 3D fighting game is set to make its console debut on June 5 for PlayStation®Network and June 6 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be priced at $14.99/ £9.99/ AUD$18.25/ €12.99 for PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points for XBLA.
Character customization DLC packs will be available immediately upon launch for all 19 fighters, with each character customization pack costing $4.99/ £3.59/ AUD$6.25/ €4.49 for PSN and 400 Microsoft Points for XBLA, and will contain 600-950 customization items. Two additional customization packs, consisting of nine characters’ worth of DLC items and the other with 10 characters’ worth, will also be available at launch for $14.99/ £9.99/ AUD$18.25/ €12.99 each on PSN and 1,200 Microsoft Points each on XBLA.

Sega Hosting Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Pre-Launch Party in Los Angeles May 19th
In their continuing promotion of Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Sega America is set to host a pre-launch party for the game at the iam8bit Gallery in Los Angeles on May 19th, featuring a couple of huge names in the Virtua Fighter community. Fuudo and Chibita will be on hand to showcase the game in a series of exhibition matches, as well as take on challengers in the upcoming release.
While not everyone will be able to challenge the Virtua Fighter masters, there will be plenty of stations available to participate in some casual matches with other attendees. The event is 21+ and invite only, so hurry over to the iam8bit website to request your invitation. With Fuudo and Chibita on hand to show off the game’s new features and Alex Valle as host, this is sure to be a fantastic event, so don’t waste any time.

First North American VF5:FS Tournament!
Sega, Southtown Arcade, & Iplaywinner presents the first VF5:FS Tournament outside of Japan. The tournament will be held in San Francisco on February 10, 2012! For more information check out the original story at Iplaywinner.com. Expect more news in the not so distant future!

Well it's finally happened folks! SEGA has announced that the best fighting game in the world will be coming out Summer of 2012 on both 360 and PS3 as a downloadable title!
